Over the two days, students worked directly with our technical specialist, gaining invaluable insights that can only be learned on the tools. The workshop covered essential skills:

• Quickfit underlay installation: Learning how to use it as a stable substrate for resilient sheet flooring.


• Three Marmoleum seaming methods: Net Fit, hot welding and Marmoweld ETU Paste for seamless, durable joins.


• Coving and corner detailing: Creating hygienic, professional finishes often required in healthcare, education and commercial environments.


• Templating techniques: How to measure, cut and fit flooring accurately in complex or awkward spaces.

Under the Technical guidance of our Technical Manager, students were coached step-by-step, ensuring they understood not only how to perform each task but also why each technique matters for long-term performance.
